The New Holland 9882 was a workhorse of a tractor. Simple affordable horsepower that was perfect for deep tillage. The real thing made 425hp with a Cummins 14L 6 cylinder engine.
In 1/64 scale the New Holland 9882 is no less impressive than it's real life counter part. This high detail model is at home on any model farm. Available with several tire options it is suitable for many jobs on the model far.
Jason,
I enjoy each and every one of your articles in Toy Farmer. For this reason I looked carefully at the JD 8760 shown in your May article and thought “something doesn’t look right here”.
I then went to my personal library to look at the literature of the 60 series tractors, and sure enough, Ertl made a mistake! The real tractors, both 60 and 70 series did not have John Deere printed on the lower part of the grill! Just thought you might like to know and perhaps point it out to Ertl
Sincerely,
Donald Gill
Where did you buy that Claas 960 Chopper? I can’t seem to locate one. Did you buy a hay head for it? Let me know. Thanks!
